Do you know what personal data is?
Any information that directly identifies a person or not is personal data . It's that simple:
- name, ID, CPF;
- gender, date and place of birth;
- telephone, home address, location via GPS;
- portrait in photography, health records, bank card, income, payment history, consumption habits, leisure preferences;
- IP address (internet protocol), cookies, etc.

Ideologically, with technology evolving and digital transformation happening at an increasingly accelerated pace, it is expected that the LGPD and the CDC ( Consumer Protection Code ) will walk together in demanding transparency for consent to the use of personal data.

1) Do not name clients or pass on any information that identifies a project. You can refer to it like this: "client from sector X”; "a large company we work for".
2 ) Use strong passwords with letters and numbers, which have no relation to the person using them (you, in our example). And of course: no one else should know your password.
3 ) Never register the option to remember passwords on computers that are not personal.
4 ) Use two-factor authentication, as it adds greater security to the account login process, requiring authentication confirmation.
5 ) Double-check a website address before logging in with your name and password, especially if the home page looks different. Pay attention: Fake websites sometimes have slightly altered URLs, like micrososft.com , and look very similar to the real website. However, they are designed to steal data or install malware on your computer.
6 ) Adopt the policy of clean desks and clean screens , information security practices recommended for the workplace in order to avoid the exposure of sensitive data and the compromise of information. Nothing confidential should be left visible, whether on paper or on your online desktop.
